Thanks for the ongoing additions, everyone. I think it's important for the community to hold companies to account online. Hard to know who to trust in cyberspace.

Yeah, my wife had the pleasure of dealing with their (anti) 'social marketer' Michelle too, they didn't bother to make the 3 deliveries (mother's day etc) we'd ordered and then tried to blame pretty much anything she could think of.

Michelle really puts the silent R in 'britch'.

There are some really good resources these days that allow people to share resources online. I had been keeping up with this for years, working with Douglas Rushkoff and starting a Time Bank in NYC (which also allows for sharing goods as well as services, gifting and doing collaborative projects) called TINY (http://timeinterchange.wordpress.com/) as well as founding One Blue Dot (http://onebluedot.com). Also check out Superfluid (http://thesuperfluid.com/).

I had similar bad experience with Bloomex. Two days ago, I ordered flowers for our wedding anniversary to be delivered to my wife's office in Victoria as a surprise today by noon. The flowers were not delivered. I called them - same luck - couldn't get hold of the customer representative. I left a message. A rep called my back, her name was Michelle and she couldn't tell me when the order was going to be delivered, she said it was bad weather, although weather was not bad at all. She hung up and never called me back. So I had to call them again and leave a message again. She called me back and started yelling at me! They are so bad! Nobody should deal with them.
